Join us as a Desk Site Support Engineer, where you'll tackle diverse challenges ranging from simple troubleshooting to complex installations of desktops, laptops, smart devices, printers, network devices, and software at various customer sites. You'll provide crucial on-site support, directly assisting end-users with issues escalated by the Global ServiceDesk. Reporting to the Domain Manager Workplace and Service Desk Services within our Global IT Services, you'll meet productivity goals and enhance our on-site IT support services.
You will also;
- Handle diverse DTS and legacy support calls, servicing a broad range of technology equipment.
- Conduct routine service calls and basic computer installations using Ivanti & Intune technology and Microsoft AutoPilot.
- Perform remote troubleshooting with Ivanti RCviewer, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
- Provide comprehensive hardware support, including break-fix, troubleshooting, and hardware warranty management with vendors.
- Support and maintain low-end document processing products, enhancing workplace productivity.
- Manage simple Active Directory administration tasks, such as password resets, to maintain user access and security.
- Execute installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) in client environments, ensuring optimal system setup.
- Offer basic deskside support for personal computers, Microsoft Teams MTR, Microsoft Office 365, and assist with general web browsing issues.
About You:
- Possess 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or a service desk environment.
- Demonstrate general knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Have expertise in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID.
- Show basic troubleshooting and repair capabilities for PCs, servers, and peripherals.
- Possess the ability to resolve straightforward technical issues efficiently.
- Have basic mechanical skills and an understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures.
- Experience with ServiceNow is a plus, enhancing service management capabilities.
- Exhibit strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Hold a driving license (category B) and be willing to travel about 60% of the time to various locations in Belgium and the Netherlands.
