We are seeking a highly experienced Project Portfolio & Resource Manager to take on a temporary yet critical role in executing and overseeing innovation projects within our Innovation Portfolio Management Office (PMO). This is a temporary position for a minimum of six months, with the possibility of an extension based on project needs and performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic executor with a strong background in cross-functional project management and a proven ability to drive project outcomes in a fast-paced environment. 
 
This role is not about setting up frameworks—it’s about executing existing projects with precision while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The role requires a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running, manage complexity, and deliver results within a defined timeframe. 

About The Role: Driving Technological Innovation  

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure innovation projects align with business strategy, feasibility, and financial impact, prioritizing those with the highest potential. 
• Optimize Resource Allocation: Balance budgets, talent, and time efficiently, ensuring critical projects receive the necessary support to succeed. 
• Enhance Risk Management: Implement proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies to prevent project disruptions and ensure smooth execution. 
• Elevate Performance Monitoring: Define and track KPIs through dashboards and reports, providing leadership with actionable insights for continuous improvement. 
• Maximize Portfolio Impact: Continuously evaluate and optimize the project portfolio to balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic objectives. 
   

Skills and Expertise  

Qualifications:  

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Agriculture, Life Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Innovation/related discipline) is highly preferred. 
• Project Management Expertise: Bring 8–10 years of progressive project management experience, with leadership roles in a PMO environment. 
• Demonstrate a strong track record in managing complex R&D or innovation portfolios, ideally within the life sciences or livestock nutrition sectors. 
• Possess extensive experience in resource allocation, risk management, and process standardization, ensuring seamless project execution. 
• Show proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage effectively with senior management to drive alignment and impact. 
• Hold a PMP certification or an equivalent project management credential (e.g., Prince2), which is highly desirable. 
• Possesses a proactive, results-driven mindset, navigating organizational dynamics with finesse and maintaining a strong focus on stakeholder management.
