Job Description
I. Main Tasks
1. Technical support
- Convince customers of the technical and economic benefits of our solutions.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop a professional, profit-contributing equipment service.
- Take responsibility for introducing and implementing technical sales support materials (demos, trials) for sales and related teams.
- Supply information and data, assist in defining Unique Selling Propositions (USPs), and support marketing material creation and market sales approaches.
- Provide dosage and application recommendations for feed ingredients across all feasible situations.
- Act as the troubleshooting and support desk for technical and sales-related questions.
- Initiate and track local field trial opportunities; ensure proper integration of field trial data into sales dossiers and maintain up-to-date communication on new findings.
- Demonstrate the need for specific products to customers, prove their effectiveness, provide application advice, and highlight the financial benefits of these services.
- Support sales teams and customers with intuitive, user-friendly dosage equipment systems.
2. Training: Deliver proper technical and economic benefits training to sales teams, nutritionists, customers, and distributors regarding the product portfolio.
3. R&D: Support innovative ideas using literature desk research, market insights, lab service results, and customer feedback to drive sales growth for current and future products.
4. Profitability Contribution: Continuously seek bottom-line improvements within and outside your area of responsibility to enhance Feed Additives product value.
Foster a mutual understanding between technical functionality and other business operations within the Feed Additives segment for optimal output.
5. Reporting & Strategy: Provide regular updates on activities, achievements, upcoming issues, and concerns through monthly written reports. Develop and execute an annual technical plan, including a budget plan and a three-year strategic outlook.
6. Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate across all organizational functions to maximize contributions to the Feed Additives line and the overall Trouw Nutrition (Nutreco) bottom line.
II. Minimum Education and Qualification Required
Education: Bachelor of Science in Animal Nutrition, Agribusiness, Feed Processing, or an equivalent field.
Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Manager or a related role. Practical experience and an understanding of feed production is highly preferred.
Skills: Proven ability to create and deliver compelling presentations that effectively convey the strategic messages of the program offering.
Languages: Fluency in both written and spoken Vietnamese & English is mandatory. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
