What you’ll do
Operational tasks: Executes a broad range of operational activities and processes (such as discharge, load, transport, clean, label, operate all equipment), to execute stages in production, contributing to a safe, effective and efficient production processes.
Maintenance check: Periodically inspects and highlight maintenance required on the production equipment, signalling defects and deficiencies.
Reporting: Logs data and information on production orders and activities in the appropriate systems to have a complete administration and insight in the state and progress of production orders
Continuous improvement: Signals deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems and flags opportunities for improvement with supervisor, to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes, tools and systems and participate in improvement projects
Safety & Compliance: Works in compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations and procedures, as well as operational standards. Promotes awareness and signals potential hazardous and or unsafe situations, takes appropriate action is case of imminent unsafe situations
Good housekeeping: Ensures the work area is left clean and in a safe working condition and that there are no hazardous situations. Maintains the appearance of the production line, working area and production site
Who we’re looking for
At least 2+ years of solid background in manufacturing with experience in production management
Previous experience in the aquaculture industry is an asset
Able to operate all types of equipment and machinery that requires advanced specialized.
You’ll also need
Ability to work in 12 hour shift on-site 3 days a week, rotating weekly and shift time 6.00 Am to 6.00 Pm OR 6.00 Pm to 6.00 Am)
Ability to bent, twist, lift and carry- 5 to 10 kgs of weight occasionally
Strong manufacturing background with experience in production
