Trouw Nutrition is growing! We’re excited to announce two new opportunities for Poultry Sales Representatives in two dynamic territories:
Southwestern Ontario: Including London East, Guelph, Kitchener, Stratford, and Fergus
Central Ontario: From Highway 400 East to Napanee
As a Poultry Sales Representative, you’ll be a trusted partner to our valued customers, delivering tailored on-farm feed solutions through expert consultations and strong relationship-building. Your role will be key in helping us grow our business and support producers with practical, science-based nutrition strategies.
About The Role: Drive sales and build strong customer relationships
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Consult with our customers on their feed needs
- Work well in a team environment with other Trouw Nutrition functions, such as Customer Service, Formulation, Nutrition and Pricing to meet customer needs.
- Work in close collaboration with Customer Service, Logistics and the customer to achieve on-farm expectations and ensure Right Feed, Right Place, Right Time
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in agriculture is an asset but not required. Will consider experience and education combination. Agriculture knowledge is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and organizational skills
- Having superior customer focus and ability to follow-up while aligning with internal processes and procedures
- High level of integrity, respect, and work ethic
Expectation from the Role:
- Self-motivated and takes the initiative
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- A valid driver’s license is required for this role
- Ability to travel to customers and attend sales events
- Must be passionate about your career!
- Go-getter who isn’t afraid to drive down a laneway and knock on doors.
