About The Role: Our Laboratory Technician carries out analytical tests to assess the quality, grade or other characteristics of incoming, produced or researched products and goods for the Selko line of products.  Shift:  Monday – Friday 11:00pm – 7:30am

Responsibilities: 

• Performs quality control and in-process tests of incoming and produced goods 

• Monitors quality trends, and timely identifies and communicates quality defects, non-conformities and trends

• Works closely with researchers to develop lab experimental design and test plans

• Conducts lab experiments according to the test plan, collates and reports the test results

• Records data, observations, and conclusions of samples and test results accurately and timely

• Periodically checks and calibrates the analytical instruments

• Proposes efficiency and quality improvements

• Performs first line maintenance activities on the analytical tools and instruments

Qualifications: 

• Advanced specialized laboratory education

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience 

• Bachelor of Science Degree

• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
