The Quality Assurance Manager is positioned at country level with a direct reporting line to the Benelux Quality Manager. You will be responsible for the local quality management systems in the location that are needed to meet all internal and external quality & feed safety requirements.

In this position you are an expert in Quality Management and Food to Feed Safety with good communication and training skills needed to create a quality culture in the location where people of all disciplines understand their role in quality performance. You are the primary point of contact for certification bodies and feed regulatory authorities and works with marketing and sales in customer interaction and satisfaction.
You will ensure that the overall quality objectives in the specified scope (site) are achieved including maintaining documentation, performing assessments, conducting audits, reporting on performance, managing CAPAs, and addressing customer complaints.

You can be the delegate for the BNL Quality manager in specific Quality areas and depute for BNL Quality Manager.

About The Role
Responsibilities
 

Quality Management - Nutrace

·        Development, continuous improvement and implementation of the policy,
standards, and processes that together ensure compliance with internal
  and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer
  expectations for the safety, quality, and integrity of animal feed and food
  products

·        Development, continuous improvement and implementation of product
  specific requirements including qualification of the business.

·        Development of training materials and execute training related to quality
  management.

·        Continuously improve communication and create awareness about
  Nutrace quality management internally and externally promoting “quality
  feeds value”.

Quality Performance

·        Perform ingredient and supplier assessments and keep corresponding
  documentation up to date.

·        Perform self-assessments to identify gaps with NBSF, Nutrace,
  Certification schemes and customer requirements and support closure of
  gaps.

·        Execute and/or coordinate internal and/or external audits and initiate and
  monitor progress of corrective actions in case of deviations.

·        Participate in improvement projects.

Quality Control and analytical services

·        Define the monitoring plans for incoming and manufactured goods.
  Support operations in defining in-process controls, in accordance with the
  organization guidelines and relevant standards and schemes.

·        Analyze QC and Quality data to identify trends and risks and develop and
  implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.

Regulatory Affairs and Product Registrations

·        Support in maintenance of permits from the local authorities

·        Support in development of product registration dossier (as producing
  OpCo or as selling OpCo – gathering all information, checking correctness.
·        Ensure changes in regulation are reviewed and necessary actions are
  taken.

·        Lead preparation and execution of inspections from authorities.

Skills and Expertise
Qualifications
 

·        Bachelor’s degree in animal/food science, biology, chemistry, or a related
  field.

·        Knowledge of food and feed safety regulations.

·        Knowledge of quality management systems and certification schemes
  including HACCP and GFSI standards.

·        Ability to work independently and in a team.

·        Attention to detail and ability to analyse data.

·        Preferred local language, fluent proficiency in verbal and written.

·        English, fluent proficiency in verbal and written.

·        Ms. Office suit, professional level
